Chapter Six

What the hell am I doing? I’m kissing a straight man. Brett’s thoughts tumbled in every direction as he kissed Jade greedily. He needed to stop. He needed to pull away, but he couldn’t. Not when Jade kissed him so expertly, so wildly that Brett found himself moaning and trying to get closer.

Jade threaded his fingers through Brett’s hair, pulling him closer—or as close as two people could get while sitting in separate chairs. Even so, Jade took the kiss deeper, hungrily lapping at Brett’s mouth.

Although the hair over Jade’s upper lip and on his chin was faint, Brett still reveled in how it scraped across his skin. The abrasion added to his excitement.

When they pulled apart, they were gasping for breath. Brett stared wide-eyed at Jade as he tried to figure out what just happened.

“I’m sorry.” Jade jumped up and took a step back. “I shouldn’t have taken advantage of you.”

Was he fucking serious? That had been the best kiss of Brett’s life. And why was he apologizing? Jade was straight and Brett had kissed him like a wanton slut.

Brett got up and took a step closer. “No, I should apologize.”

“For what?” Jade looked surprised. “I was the one who kissed you.” His eyes lit up with amusement. “And damn, you tasted fucking good.”

Brett’s cheeks heated to nuclear levels. “But you’re not gay.”

Jade cocked his head to the side, his brows furrowing. “What does that have to do with how good you taste?”

Brett couldn’t help it. He burst out laughing. “I have no idea.”

“You’re sexy as fuck when you smile.” Jade grinned. “I like it.”

Brett sobered. “You’re a confusing man.”

“Yeah, I am,” Jade said. “I even confuse myself most of the time.”

His answer was so honest, so raw that Brett moved closer until their chests were touching. “So why did you kiss me?”

He was surprised when shyness crept into Jade’s dark eyes. “I dunno. I just wanted to.”

Boldness seized Brett. He’d never behaved so brazenly, but felt confident Jade wouldn’t push him away. Brett shifted against Jade. Their chests bumped, causing Jade to look at him. Jade was a few inches taller, so Brett had to look up, but he loved staring into those dark, fathomless eyes.

“You want to kiss me again, don’t you?” he asked.

A wicked smile curved Jade’s lips. “I want more than that.”

His statement shocked Brett. “Like?”

Jade nipped at Brett’s ear, and the sting went straight to Brett’s balls. He sucked in a deep breath and shivered.

“I want you to blow me,” Jade whispered into his ear.

Brett’s entire body clenched with need. God, how he wanted to, but he was afraid of what Jade would think of him if he gave in to his desires. Jade had a reputation as a playboy, and Brett didn’t want to be another one of his conquests.

The tension became awkward as Brett pulled away. He lowered his gaze and saw how hard Jade was. His impressive cock strained against his work jeans.

“Did I take it too far?” Jade’s brows dipped in confusion.
